Expert Care for Happy, Healthy Pets
Booking your appointment has never been easier.
To ensure the best outcome for your pet, we require a physical examination with one of our veterinarians before scheduling any procedure. During this appointment, our staff will explain the entire process, including:
We recommend baseline laboratory tests to avoid any unexpected issues on surgery day. Normal blood test results help prevent complications related to anesthesia and surgery, such as excessive bleeding, which can occur with low platelet counts or abnormal clotting. In cases of liver or kidney disease, test results will guide our choice of anesthetic drugs to ensure a smooth recovery.
Our staff will inform you about any necessary food and water intake restrictions prior to the surgery. Fasting is often required before the procedure.
From initial intake to sedation and general anesthesia, and through to anesthesia monitoring, the procedure itself, and recovery, our team will explain each step of what will happen once you leave your pet at the hospital.
Depending on the procedure, your pet may be able to go home the same day, or they might need an overnight stay or referral to a 24-hour care facility. The veterinary team will advise you on the best course of action and discuss aftercare instructions and any necessary follow-up appointments.
Our dedicated team is committed to providing the highest level of surgical care to ensure your pet’s health and well-being.
